Guided sea kayak day trips are a great opportunity to learn and refresh the basics of sea kayaking while exploring the beauty of the island.

Kayak del Mar arranges guided half day and day trips of various distances and duration along the rugged volcanic coast of Lanzarote. Only 2.5 miles away from the base and beyond lay a row of virgin black beaches, most of which are only accessible from the sea. Within reasonable distance we the local fishing village of Playa Quemada and the natural reserve "Los Ajaches". At times we are lucky to encounter both tropical pilotwhales and dolphins.

Guided sea kayak day trips are a great opportunity to learn and refresh the basics of sea kayaking while exploring the beauty of the island. We'll take breaks to explore points of interest, enjoy a little beachcombing and savour the ambience of the extraordinary nature of the areas we visit.

Kayak expeditions aimed at the experienced paddler are frequent events in the Kayak del Mar programme and can be booked especially in advance. On these expeditions we visit the marine reserve around the islands of La Graciosa, Alegranza and Monta�a Clara north of Lanzarote, and the island of Lobos between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

Selfguided tours are an option if you are an experienced kayaker. You should be competent with paddling in waves as these are an exciting challenge especially in the north and west of the island. Kayak del Mar will advice you on the best routes to paddle depending on the current and forecast weather, and you have the possibility to make use of the transfer service which will take you to the desired point of departure as well as return from the pick up zone.

The cost for one day selfguided tour is 40 euros/kayak, additional days 30 euros/kayak/day. Transfer of kayaks and persons (max 8) is 50 euros per trip.

Guided day trips and expeditions include: instructor, kayak, accessories and transfers.
Does not include food and drink.
We recommend you bring a dry change of clothes, towel, food and water, sunscreen, sun glasses and cap.
