Kayak fishing trips

Kayak del Mar offers a handful of special, fully rigged fishing kayaks for those who want to challenge the local big-and-small game fish.

Light tackle fishing gear is always used as the pull from a hooked fish is transferred directly to the kayak which will move with the fighting fish. Getting a fish hooked from a kayak is exciting, and even relatively small ones will tow you around for a while until they tire and are ready to be landed. Kayak del Mar is in favour of the Catch and Release principle, but a select trophy catch can be brought back to the BBQ. The advantage of fishing from a kayak is that you silently advance through the water, bringing you closer to the action!

• Deep sea trolling is aimed at Albacore and small Tuna.
• Jigging will bring in pelagic as well as bottom fish of superior size, mainly Amber Jacks and White Trevally.
• Bottom fishing is always rewarding. A large selection of Snappers and Breams are almost guaranteed to be caught.
• Spinning will land you Blue Fish and the local Barracuda species called Bicua.
• If success fails in one approach, we easily change configuration until dinner is landed.

Maximum 3 persons.
Include: guide, fishing kayak, fishing rod, bait + accessories and tax.
Does not include food and drink.
